A Letter To Your Local Cable Company – Re: Sportsnet ONE

Written on September 15, 2010 at 08:08, by HTTN

Canucks fans, by now you are well aware of the battle between the cable television companies that has found you caught smack dab in the middle.  Rogers is using 13 Canucks games as the largest bargaining chip in selling their new channel Rogers Sportsnet ONE to your local cable company, and they’re counting on the pressure from you, the irate, distraught fans, to push your local cable companies into buying it.

Problem is you’re a bunch of laid back Vancouverites who are still enjoying the last of the summer.  You’re out biking, spending time on the beach, and eating sushi.  But before it’s too late and you find yourself missing Canucks games, I’d like to help organize your efforts so you don’t end up like Blue Jays fans who have missed half their team’s season thanks to Rogers.

To help with this, I have drafted this letter for you to send to your local cable companies.  Please replace the words Delta Cable with your local cable company, if needed.
