Jason Garrison – getting to know the newest Vancouver Canuck

On July 1, the Canucks signed free agent Jason Garrison to a six-year contract that will pay him $4.6 million annually. No, that’s not him above. That’s Mr. Garrison. Don’t worry, from what we’ve heard, Jason Garrison is a far less troubled individual. He’s pretty damn good at hockey too.

As you can see, he was the third-ranked defenseman in goals scored this past season.

What we’ve learned from the video:
1. That shot of him at the beginning and end is creepy.
2. He is really good at one-timers. (11 of the 16 goals were one-timers)

What else? He’s 6′-2″ and 220 lbs. And despite only having three full NHL seasons under his belt, Garrison is 27 years old, meaning the Canucks have him locked up for the prime of his hockey career.
